KIRCHOFF'S LAWS

Kirchoff's Laws are fundamental laws of circuit analysis. They are universal, in the sense that they can be applied to any type of circuit.

In this text, our interest is confined to the application of Kirchoff's Laws to Linear Circuits.

Before we can discuss how Kirchoff's Laws can be applied, it is necessary to know what these laws. There are two laws:

At first, these laws are introduced, and some worked examples are presented to facilitate understanding of these laws.

The chapters to follow apply these laws for analyzing circuits.
