MESH ANALYSIS

Nodal analysis and mesh analysis are the two general techniques of analysis, that can be applied to almost any circuit. They are systematic but laborious. In order to apply these techniques, knowldge of Cramer's rule or Gaussian elimination method is necessary. This chapter describes passive sign convention first. Application of Cramer's rule and application of Gaussian elimination method are desribed in this chater. Quite a few examples are presented to illustrate how the technique of mesh analysis can be applied to analyze circuits contaning dependent and independent sources.
