NODAL ANALYSIS

Nodal analysis and mesh analysis are the two general techniques for analysing circuit. Nodal analysis can be applied to any circuit. The mathematical technique is similar to that used for mesh analysis. Nodal analysis is based on Kirchoff's current law and is used more commonly than mesh analysis.

This chapter contains quite a few worked examples. The view taken is that it is easy to learn using examples. An example of an op amp circuit is also presented to illustrate the usefulness of nodal analysis.

This technique is applied extensively to solve problems, in all the chapters to follow. Hence this chapter has no exercise problem if its own.
