NETWORK THEOREMS

The merit of network theorems lies in their ability to offer some insight into the behaviour of circuits. They are of limited use for analysis os of circuits. Unlike nodal analysis and mesh analysis, which are the two general techniques for analysing circuit, network theorems are not of general use.

The sections are on:

The whole area of linear circuit analysis is founded on the superposition theorem. Thevenin's and Norton's theorems are commonly used for analysisng electronic circuits. Maximum power transfer theorem derives condition for maxim power transfer to load in low power circuits. Tellegen's theorem is about the power balance in a circuit. The rest of theorems have limited use and they are described briefly.
