ANALYSIS OF AC CIRCUITS

This chapter is on analysis of ac circuits. This chapter explains how we can apply Nodal and Mesh analysis to ac circuits. It is also explained how we can apply the network theorems for analysis of ac circuits.

The sections in this chapter are on:

• Application of Kirchoff's Laws ,
• Power Factor Improvement,
• Star-Delta Transformation ,
• Mesh and Nodal Analysis, and
• Application of Network Theorems .

The chapter also presents quite a few examples. The analysis of ac circuits is no different from analysis of dc circuits, excepting that we are delaing with complex values instead of just scalars. That makes calculation a bit more cumbersome.

The next chapter is on the solution of linear differential equations.
