INTRODUCTION TO SIGNALS

This chapter is on signals used to excite circuits. The signals can be classified in quite a few ways. There are operations that can be performed on the signals and there are operation that can be performed on the independent variable of the signal. A linear circuit is normally excited by a dc signal, a periodic signal or an exponential signal. Their properties are described in this chapter.
